MUST SEE SHOW - HOW BIG CAN YOU BE?

The Men Who Built America

This is a Must See Show for all big thinkers or wannabe big thinkers. The Men Who Built America is an epic series that covers how John D. Rockefeller, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford and J.P. Morgan rose from obscurity and in the process built modern America.

In the modern day, their names hang on street signs, are etched into buildings and are a part of the fabric of history. These men created the America Dream and were the engine of capitalism as they transformed everything they touched in building the oil, rail, steel, shipping, automobile and finance industries.

How were these great and historic figures able to achieve such amazing feats? How were they able to develop the United States of America into the greatest power the world has ever seen?

BIG THINKING! Every one of these American legends was a big thinker. They set themselves apart and established legacies that will live forever by thinking bigger and better than their competition.

They were always one step ahead of the game, setting the trend and transforming the world. They were able to build monopolies and conglomerates that live to this day by combining innovative thinking with positive expectation risk taking. They never backed down from a challenge and never listened when people told them their dreams could not be accomplished.

As the new year approaches, what is your resolution?

My favorite was JP Morgan:

1. How he used OPM and learned from his mentor

2. How he was first to consolidate and buy the weak railroads transforming that industry

3. Did the same with Steel - made Carnige the Richest Man in The World thus making U.S. Steel

4. Did the same with Edison and took Edison Electric - booted him out and made it General Electric - still HUGE today!!

5. Created Investment Banking

6. Bailed out the government with $100 milllion loan

Pure Genius!!

P.S. Rockefeller taking kerosine by product - at the verge of going out business with invention of electricity and lightbulb - thinks hard and comes up wit "GASOLINE" - Big thinkers ladies and gentlemen - BIG THINKERS!!

In closing, if you could be one of The Men Who Built America, who would you choose?

John D. Rockefeller, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford, or J.P. Morgan?

What about that particular American legend draws you to them?
